Vata represents air principle, so it is very quick, active and mobile in nature, easily get out of balance and causes imbalances of other doshas. In short Vata is an energetic force responsible for each and every movement .Kapha; Pitta, all Dhatus and Malas depend on Vata for their motion. We can’t survive without Vata. So Charak said that Vata is Life, it is strength and Vata maintain the relation of spirit to the body, mind and senses. Balancing Vata is very important for everyone.
